Stemming from a Wall Street background, Debra Chen began her career at the Global Derivatives Group of JP Morgan before serving as a Derivatives Analyst at Lehman Brothers’ trading desk. With over a decade of experience, she has taken her empirical knowledge of corporate finance and applied it to advising management teams on the approach of effective strategic positioning, investor relations, crisis communications and general management.
In addition to having a diverse background in supporting consumer, retail, energy, industrial and media companies, Debra also combines her leadership, perception of the financial markets and understanding of institutional investors to produce value-enhancing investor relation campaigns.
Debra has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from Binghamton University and has studied Corporate Finance and Investments at Melbourne University in Australia.
Since 2010, she was appointed President of Oxford Metrica, an analytics and advisory firm which focuses on corporate reputation, international listings and international investments.
She currently sits on the Committee Board of New York City Coalition Against Hunger (NYCCAH), a nonprofit organization providing aid to more than 1.4 million low-income New Yorkers. NYCCAH works to meet the immediate food needs of those that are food-insecure, by enacting innovative solutions to help them move "beyond the soup kitchen" to self-sufficiency.
